August Futterer
August Futterer (born May 10, 1865 in Mondfeld , † May 20, 1927 in Munich ) was a German draftsman.
Futterer completed an apprenticeship at a arts and crafts school from 1881 to 1884, after which he studied at the Munich Art Academy with Nicolaus Gysis and Gabriel von Hackl . In 1893 he began to work for the Meggendorfer-Blätter . In 1899 he took part in an international graphic exhibition in Nice . In 1912 he and his brother Josef Futterer were made honorary citizens of Mondfeld, where they established a foundation.
August Futterer died at the age of 62 in Munich of pelvic inflammation.
