August Heinrich (fossil collector)

August Heinrich (born February 4, 1859 in Graz , † April 23, 1926 in Bischofshofen ) was an Austrian doctor and fossil collector .

Henry received his doctorate in 1883 at the University of Graz Dr. med. He worked as a doctor in Bischofshofen. Heinrich collected fossils in the Alpine Upper Triassic , especially in the Hallstatt Limestone . Today his collection is in the Natural History Museum Vienna .
