August Langemeyer

August Langemeyer (born February 1, 1859 in Mettingen , † June 30, 1920 in Bad Kissingen ) was a German distillery owner and member of parliament.

Langemeyer, who was a Catholic denomination, owned a distillery in Mettingen. From 1905 to 1919 he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Westphalia for the German Center Party and the constituency of Tecklenburg . The family company founded by Cornelius Langemeyer still exists today as the C. Langemeyer grain distillery in Mettingen.
