August Schäfer (politician)
August Schäfer (born September 16, 1890 in Morschheim , † April 22, 1977 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Schäfer worked as a teacher in Ludwigshafen-Friesenheim from 1918 . From 1945 to 1955 he was city school councilor in Ludwigshafen am Rhein. In 1946 he became a member of the consultative state assembly in the newly formed state of Rhineland-Palatinate and from 1949 to 1955 and again from 1957 to 1959 he was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament .
