August Zellner

August Zellner (* 6. September 1879 in Gloggnitz , Lower Austria , † 6. January 1956 in Klosterneuburg ) than advice of the Supreme Court (OGH) and German Reichsgerichtsrat judges in supreme courts of different states.

Life

The son of a musician passed the judicial state examination in 1901 ("with good success"). In the same year he became a legal trainee at the Vienna Regional Court, and in 1902 he was an auscultant. He passed the judge's examination in 1906 "with very good success". In 1908 he was adjunct court in Linsing, and in 1911 at the Vienna Regional Court. At Christmas 1913 he became a district judge at the District Court of Vienna. During the First World War he served as a general military lawyer . On May 31, 1919 he was appointed regional judge on the 6th status. Two years later he was appointed higher regional judge, in early 1924 judge of grade 3 for the district court for civil matters Vienna and in May council. Chairman of the Senate of the Regional Court for Civil Law Matters in Vienna. August Zellner was appointed to the Council of the Higher Regional Court in Vienna in mid-August 1930, a position he did not take up until six months later, on New Year's Day 1931. He came to the Supreme Court in 1936 as a councilor. After Austria was " annexed " to the National Socialist German Reich, Zellner became provisional president of the OGH Vienna on May 13, 1938. A year later in April, Zellner moved to the Imperial Court as Senate President .
