Augustinas Normantas

Augustinas Normantas (* 1952 in Auksodė, Mažeikiai district , Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian administrative lawyer , ombudsman and former constitutional judge.

Life

After graduation in 1970 at the middle school Mažeikiai he graduated from 1970 to 1975 the Diploma in Law at the University of Vilnius from 1976 to 1980 postgraduate at the University of Moscow . In 1982 he received his doctorate in constitutional law on the subject of "Visaliaudinė valstybė: atsiradimas, esmė ir funkcijos".

Since 1975 he has been a lecturer at the Chair of Constitutional Law. From 1993 to 1996 he was advisor to the Legal Committee of the Seimas , from 1996 to 2005 a judge at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Lithuania and then ombudsman of the Seimas.
