In 1522, Caspar Amman , the prior of the Augustinians, publicly preached the teachings of Luther . On September 1, 1802, in the course of secularization in Bavaria, the administration of the monastery was transferred to electoral Bavarian officials. The final cancellation took place on March 20, 1804.
