Augusto Mendizábal Moya

Augusto Mendizábal Moya (born September 12, 1921 ) is a former Bolivian politician and diplomat.

Life

Augusto Mendizábal Moya is the son of Modesta Victoria Moya and Ángel Mendizábal. His brother Jaime defended Ciro Bustos with Raúl Novillo in a trial in the Municipio Villa Vaca Guzmán . Augusto Mendizábal Moya studied law at the Mayor de San Andrés University , became a doctor of law and a member of Opus Dei . He was a leading politician in the fascist Falange Socialista Boliviana (FSB).

In 1951 he was a member of the National Congress for a constituency in Loayza Province . In 1964 he was briefly general secretary of the government junta of René Barrientos Ortuño .

From August 22, 1971 to December 28, 1971, in the first government cabinet of Hugo Banzer Suárez , he was Ministro de Educadión y Cultura .

Augusto Mendizábal Moya was accredited as Ambassador of Hugo Banzer Suárez to Fidel Sánchez Hernández on May 30, 1972 .
