The Municipio Villa Vaca Guzmán (also: Muyupampa ) is a district in the Chuquisaca department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

The municipality of Villa Vaca Guzmán is one of three municipalities in the Luis Calvo province and includes its western area. It is bordered to the east and north by the Santa Cruz Department , to the northwest by the Tomina Province , to the west by the Hernando Siles Province , to the south by the Tarija Department , and to the southeast by the Municipio Huacaya .

The municipality extends approximately between 19 ° 02 'and 21 ° 00' south latitude and 63 ° 40 'and 64 ° 00' west longitude, its extension from west to east is between 12 and 30 kilometers, from north to south 220 kilometers.

The municipality comprises 95 municipalities ( localidades ), the central place of the municipality is the rural town of Muyupampa with 3,215 inhabitants ( 2012 census ) in the northern part of the district.

The Municipio Villa Vaca Guzmàn is located in the humid, subandine Chaco of Bolivia on the edge of the southeastern foothills of the Bolivian Cordillera Central .
