The Dr. Jürgen Fischer Heilbronner Auktionshaus GmbH & Co. KG , based in Heilbronn, is an auction company specializing in European glass art .
history
The company was founded in Heilbronn in 1976 , and since 1985 the business premises have been in the historic Trappenseeschlösschen in Heilbronn. In addition to glass, the program also includes ceramics , silver , clocks and other handicrafts .
The lots, which are mostly called up in chronological order, typically include older molded glass from the 17th to 19th centuries (often German or Dutch Romans, goblets, tankards, joke vessels and apothecary vessels), cut glass, intermediate gold, enamel and milk glass from the 18th and 19th centuries Century, signed Biedermeier glass and view glass from Bohemia, beer mugs and paperweights from the 19th century and glass from historicism . French Art Nouveau glass usually occupies a large space , and Bohemian Art Nouveau glass (stem glasses ) and Art Deco works are also auctioned. The focus of glass after 1930 and contemporary glass is on Murano and Swedish glass, but Czech and German artists are also represented.
From time to time, complete collections that were previously kept in museums and have become known to the international community are also auctioned (example: Giorgio Silzer Collection 2003).
