The Aulis Verlag is a German specialist publisher that primarily publishes educational specialist magazines and materials for teachers to prepare for lessons. From November 2008 to January 31, 2017 he was part of STARK Verlagsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG , based in Hallbergmoos near Munich . Since February 1, 2017, the Aulis specialist book program has been transferred to Friedrich Verlag .

history

The publishing house was founded in 1951 by Karl August Deubner in Frankenberg / Eder ; The namesake is the nearby Aulisburg . A short time later the publishing house was relocated to Cologne . In the mid-1970s, Karl August Deubner's son Wolfgang Deubner became the new director of the publishing house. In November 2008, STARK Verlag took over Aulis Verlag Deubner GmbH & Co. KG, which had an average of 33 employees in 2008 and its headquarters were relocated to Hallbergmoos.

Portfolio

The publishing program includes around 600 titles (as of June 2011) for almost all disciplines. Aulis is particularly known for his educational specialist journal series “Praxis der Naturwissenschaften” for the subjects of biology , chemistry and physics as well as for journals on mathematics and geography . Another trademark of the publisher are series of pedagogical manuals in the subjects of physics, biology, chemistry and geography.
