Aurélien Faivre (born June 22, 1978 in Besançon ) is a French football player .
Career
Faivre began playing football at third division club RC Besançon , where he was in the first team squad from 1999 and made his debut in the 2000/01 season. At first it was only used sporadically. After the team was promoted to the second division in 2003 , he made his breakthrough there. He stayed in Besançon for a year after relegation in 2004, before signing with league rivals Olympique Nîmes in 2005 . There Faivre posted only 16 league appearances and left Nîmes in 2006 when he switched to FC Libourne . For this he ran again on a regular basis. From 2008, three more second division years followed with the OC Vannes . With Vannes he was relegated to the third division in 2011, after which the contract was not extended. Faivre was without a club for a year until he found a new employer in 2012 in the third division promoted FC Bourg-Péronnas and became a regular there. Despite his age of 35, he was able to remain in the league in 2013 when he signed with Le Poiré-sur-Vie VF . In Le Poiré sur Vie he will mainly play in the reserve team playing in the CFA 2.
