Aurimas Kučys (born February 22, 1981 in Panevėžys ) is a Lithuanian football player . He has been playing for Ekranas Panevėžys in A Lyga , the top Lithuanian league , since 2010 .

Career

Kučys began his career at Ekranas Panevėžys , where he was brought to the first team in 1998. In its first year, the club finished fifth. In 2000, fourth place in the championship was achieved, and the team was also able to win the Lithuanian Cup. In 2005, the first championship title in the career of the defensive midfielder was won, and in 2006 the club was able to win the Supercup alongside the runner-up title.

In 2007 he moved to FC Daugava Daugavpils in Latvia . The club finished fifth in the final table. He then moved to the Ukraine and played until July 2009 at FC Navtoyk Ochtyrka in the local second-highest division. In autumn 2009 he was under contract with FC Zakarpattia Uzhhorod. In January 2010 he returned to his home club Ekranas Panevėžys .

For Lithuania he has so far completed 17 international matches. He made his debut in 2002.
