The Aurora Heights are an 8 km long mountain range in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . They rise up on the northern flank of the Argosy Glacier in the Miller Range of the Transantarctic Mountains .

Participants of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1961–1962) named it after the Aurora , the ship of the Ross Sea Party as part of the endurance expedition (1914–1917) of British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton .
