Propagation mechanisms of plants
The propagation mechanisms of plants are investigated by chorology in collaboration with plant physiology .
The component -chory of the terms goes back to Greek χώρα, chóra , “land, space” from ancient Greek χωρίς, “without, separate” and includes all types of spread such as seed spread , propagation via self-cuttings and spread by humans, that is also all aspects of the carry-over and horticultural plant propagation .
