Australian Baseball League (1989-99)
The Australian Baseball League (ABL) was a professional baseball league that was founded in 1987 and celebrated its inaugural season in 1989. The league was dissolved in 1999 due to financial difficulties and replaced in 2010 by what is now the Australian Baseball League of the same name .
