The Austrochilidae are a family of real spiders (Araneomorphae). Two genera, Austrochilus and Thaida , are endemic to the Andean mountain forests in central and southern Chile, as well as in neighboring Argentina . The third genus, Hickmania , is endemic to Tasmania .
