Autotelic is a six-member alternative rock / pop band from the Philippine capital Manila, founded in 2012 .

The musicians mix Japanese music with influences from western dance music and alternative rock . The lyrics are partly in English , but mostly in Tagalog . In 2014 an EP titled after the band was released via the Nemesis Music Group . After the band switched to MCM Music Inc. , a regional branch of the Universal Music Group , the debut album Papunta Pabalik was released in 2016 .

In 2017 the band was nominated in three categories at the Awit Awards , which are presented by PARI .
