AvD Pro 2000 is an existing since 1998 is moved in the amateur professional field four-stroke racing kart series of AVD .

The outstanding features are the relatively low financial commitment of the drivers and teams. On the one hand, this is achieved through relatively strict regulations and, on the other hand, through the limitation to Mach 1 karts (Hetschel) with Honda GX XXX 4-stroke engines, which prevents an arms race. The classification of the classes is as follows:

  • GX270 9.5 hp
  • GX390 13.0 hp
  • GX390 Super Cup 30.0 hp

An event consists of the following parts:

  • Free practice (approx. 10–12 minutes)
  • Qualifying (qualifying approx. 10-12 minutes)
  • Race 1 (approx. 12-20 laps)
  • Race 2 (approx. 12-20 laps)

Paramedics and trained marshals are on hand to secure the events.

Approx. 5–10 events are run, including on outdoor tracks approved by the DMSB .
