Galeazzo Sanvitale (* 1566 in Parma ; † September 8, 1622 ) was Archbishop of Bari .

Life

Consecrated Archbishop of Bari on April 4, 1604 by Girolamo Bernerio with the assistance of Bishops Claudio Rangoni of Piacenza and Giovanni Ambrogio Caccia of Castro and already resigned to his archbishopric in 1606, Sanvitale was one of the early ancestors of the Rebiba succession line . He was the consecrator of Cardinal Ludovico Ludovisi .
