The Avesta BK is an established in 1932 the Swedish ice hockey club from Avesta .

history

The association was founded in 1932. The team first appeared nationwide in the 1966/67 season , when they were active in Division 1 , which was still the highest Swedish division at the time. In the 1970s to 1990s the team was active several times in Division 1, which was second class at the time. From 1999 to 2003 the Avesta BK played several times in the meanwhile third-class Division 1. Since then, the team has played in the fourth-class Division 2 .
