Aveve is a Belgian agricultural and horticultural supplier. Aveve is the largest Belgian compound feed producer .
Business areas
In addition to the wholesale of grain, compound feed is produced. Aveve also has a number of garden centers. Further business areas are agricultural machinery trade, animal feed production and seed potato marketing. Around 1890 the foundation stone of today's Aveve was laid in the form of cooperatives. The Aveve Group consists of around 45 companies. The animal feed production department employs around 260 people who generate annual sales of around 250 million euros. The factories are located in Aalter and Merksem . In August 2011 it was announced that Aveve is taking over the Mannheim site of a German manufacturer of compound feed , Muskator . In 2012 the own brand Mifuma was launched.
Mischfutterwerke Mannheim GmbH has been producing animal feed on Friesenheim Island at Mannheim's Altrheinhafen since 1965 . The company was part of Muskator-Werke GmbH for 45 years before it was bought by the Belgian group Aveve in 2011.
For the time being, the company continued to produce feed under the brand names Muskator and Ovator for southwest Germany, France and Luxembourg.
