Awake ( tight. : Awake - Awake ) is a documentary about the Indian yogi and guru Paramahansa Yogananda , who came in the 1920s in the West for yoga and meditation to teach. The film is in English with subtitles in 17 languages (May 2017).

The film contains interviews with students of Paramahansa Yogananda, as well as with Ravi Shankar , George Harrison , Krishna Das and others. It has been filmed for over three years and in over 30 countries, including pilgrimages to India , Harvard Divinity School and its physics labs, the Center for Science and Spirituality at the University of Pennsylvania, and the Chopra Center in Carlsbad, California.
