Axel Eggert from Usedom

Axel Eggert von Usedom (born June 23, 1839 in Zirmoisel on Rügen, today a district of Rappin ; † January 8, 1884 in Koblenz ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Born as the son of a landowner on Rügen, von Usedom attended the St. Katharinen high school in Stralsund and graduated from high school at Michaelis in 1858. He studied law in Heidelberg and Greifswald . In Heidelberg he became a member of the Corps Vandalia in 1858 . In 1861 he passed the auscultation exam. In 1864 he became a government trainee in Stralsund and in 1867 a government assessor in Hanover. From 1871 to 1880 he was district administrator in Bergen on Rügen and from 1880 government councilor at the high presidium in Koblenz. As such, he died there on January 8, 1884.
