Axel Hölzer (born June 22, 1963 in Bergisch Gladbach ) was CEO and CFO of Marseille-Kliniken AG from 2002 to 2010 .

After studying business administration in Berlin, Hölzer worked from 1988 to 1995 in auditing and management consultancy at Arthur Andersen in Hanover, Hamburg and Milan. In May 1995, Hölzer joined Marseille-Kliniken AG as Finance Director. In 1996 he was appointed general representative and in 1998 was entrusted with the management of the board secretariat by Ulrich Marseille. In 1999, Hölzer was appointed to the board of directors and headed the investments department.

Hölzer has been CEO of SCS-Standard Computer Systeme AG since October 1999. On October 1, 2000, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Marseille-Kliniken AG. From September 17, 2002 to March 2010, Hölzer was CEO of Marseille-Kliniken AG.
