Axel Kruse (born July 14, 1963 ) is a German science fiction author.

Life

After graduating from high school in Essen and completing military service, Kruse completed an apprenticeship as a tax assistant and advanced training as an accountant, and now works as an independent tax consultant in Mülheim an der Ruhr .

Axel Kruse regularly publishes science fiction stories in the science fiction magazine Exodus and the science fiction series ad astra . His short story Sideways into Time was awarded the German Science Fiction Prize in 2014.

Kruse is married and has four children.
