The Cathedral Crags (English for cathedral cliffs ) are a 140 m high, rocky and ice-free hill with cliffs on the side slopes in the southeast of Deception Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises on the peninsula between Neptunes Window and Fildes Point . The Green Crag belongs to him .
For whalers, this formation was known as The Convent or Weathercock Hill before 1930 . Its current descriptive name has been established by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey since at least 1953 .
