Axel Richter (born March 27, 1956 in Höganäs , Sweden ) is a former German ice hockey goalkeeper who played in the ice hockey Bundesliga for the Cologne EC and Berlin SC from 1972 to 1982 .
Career
He had 337 Bundesliga appearances in goal and was even able to score one goal in his career. In the 1976/77 season he won the German championship with the Kölner Haien .
At times he played in Cologne with his brother Karl-Gustav Richter . He later moved to the Berlin Ice Skating Club ( Berliner SC ).
From 1982 to 1986 he played at SC Solingen in the 2nd Bundesliga.
