Karl-Gustav Richter (also Carl-Gustaf Richter ; born October 27, 1954 in Malmö ) is a former German - Swedish ice hockey player who was active between 1972 and 1982 for the Cologne EC and the Berlin SC in the ice hockey Bundesliga and two Won German championship title. His brother Axel was an ice hockey goalkeeper and played in a team with Karl-Gustav for many years.

Career

Karl-Gustav Richter played for the Berlin Ice Skating Club from 1971 and rose with it from the Oberliga to the Ice Hockey Bundesliga in 1972 . In 1974 he was German champion with the Berlin team, together with his brother Axel . After this success, the brothers moved to the Cologne EC .

In the 1975/76 season Richter was the Haie's top scorer with 19 goals. In the following season he won the German championship again with the KEC. Richter completed a total of 152 Bundesliga games for the KEC, in which he scored 58 goals.

In 1982 the first team of the Berliner SC was stopped and Richter continued his career at BFC Preussen , with whom he rose from the Oberliga in 1983 to the 2nd Bundesliga. Then the ice hockey department of the BFC switched to the newly founded BSC Preussen , with which Richter won the championship in the 2nd Bundesliga North in 1984.
