Axel Riederer

Axel Riederer (born June 21, 1944 in Berlin ) is a German engineer and politician ( SPD ). From 1995 to 1999 he was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives .

Life

Axel Riederer studied from 1963 to 1968 at the University of Rostock with a degree in engineering. From 1969 to 1981 he was a research assistant at the Central Institute for Mathematics and Mechanics of the Academy of Sciences of the GDR . There he received his PhD in 1978 under Joachim Förste's dissertation on numerical calculation and verification of three-dimensional velocity and temperature fields in electrically heated glass melting tanks as a Dr.-Ing. PhD.

He later worked in the information technology department at Friedrichshain Hospital.

Party and politics

Riederer joined the SPD in 1989 and was chairman of the SPD Weißensee from 1992. In 1995 he moved into the Berlin House of Representatives, to which he belonged for one legislative period, via the Weissensee district list.
