Mount Duvall is an icy and 2,149 m high mountain in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Royal Society Range, it rises west of the Fisher Bastion on the northern flank of the Solomon Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1994 after the American astrophysicist Thomas L. Duvall Jr., who carried out helioseismological studies in 1980 together with his colleagues John W. Harvey (* 1940) and Martin A. Pomerantz (1916-2008) Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station .
