Ringier Axel Springer Polska Sp. Z oo was founded in 1994 as a subsidiary of Axel Springer AG. The company is one of the largest publishers of Polish newspapers and magazines and has been part of the newly founded media group Ringier Axel Springer Media AG since 2010 .

Holdings

The print portfolio includes FAKT, the best-selling Polish daily newspaper, two sports daily newspapers (the nationwide Przegląd Sportowy and the regional newspaper Sport) as well as the weekly Newsweek Polska and the monthly business magazine Forbes. It also publishes computer magazines (such as Komputer Świat) and car magazines (such as Auto Świat and Top Gear).

The company also offers more than 20 Internet services. Many of the titles can also be accessed via an app on tablet computers and smartphones.

Ringier Axel Springer Polska Sp. Z oo holds a 49% stake in INFOR Biznes, which publishes the daily newspaper Dziennik Gazeta Prawna. Ringier Axel Springer Media AG holds 75% of the shares in the leading Polish online portal Onet.pl.
