Fact is the name of a national tabloid that has been published daily in Poland by the Polish subsidiary of the German Axel Springer group Ringier Axel Springer Polska since October 2003 .

Edition and format

It appeared in 2009 with an average print run of 638,000 copies, of which 467,000 copies (as of April and May 2009 mean) are sold, making it the market leader among daily newspapers, ahead of Gazeta Wyborcza or Rzeczpospolita . The editor-in-chief is Grzegorz Jankowski . In 2011, the average sold circulation was 394,460.

Fact has 32 pages on Mondays and 24 pages from Tuesday to Saturday. The paper costs 1.00 PLN (1.50 PLN on Thursdays), which is why the tabloid competitor Super Express accused him shortly after the launch of selling the paper for less than production costs and complained about the price. After Super Express lost the lawsuit, it also lowered its price to PLN 1.00. Fact has a format of 252 × 339 mm and is based on the group-related Bild newspaper .
