Ayaan Ali Khan (originally: Bangash ; born September 5, 1979 in Delhi , India ) is an Indian sarod musician .

life and career

Khan was born to sarod musician Amjad Ali Khan and dancer Subhalakshmi Barua Khan, and has an older brother.

In 1997, Khan made an appearance at Carnegie Hall with his father and brother . Two years later he released his first album. The 2005 co-produced album "Moksha" was nominated for a Grammy.

Khan has been married to Neema Sharma since 2008 and belongs to the Muslim faith.
