Aymardus
Aymardus (* before 942; † 965 ) was a Cluniac monk and since 942 the third abbot of Cluny .
In his time as abbot, Cluny became a secular power and the center of a monastic empire, despite being a cautious man. He was chosen by St. Odo of Cluny as his successor with the intention of giving the growth of the order a break to consolidate.
