Ayten Mutlu

Ayten Mutlu (born October 6, 1952 Bandırma ) is a Turkish poet and writer .

Life

She completed a management degree at Istanbul University in 1975 and then worked at the Turkish Central Bank . She was in the women's movement and politically active.

She has published poetry, prose, short stories and criticism and has translated contemporary and historical poets from English into Turkish.

She is considered a master of condensed language. Her poetry reflects her inner struggles as well as a view of the world in which all horror and beauty can be seen at once and often mixed up.
