Ayyıldız Tim

Ayyıldız Tim (translated 'Team Crescent and Star') is a nationalist- oriented hacker group in Turkey that was founded in 2002. It encompasses many groups and is said to have a military ranking system. The group is on the side of the Turkish state and thus attacks websites in countries that they perceive as hostile.

Operations

  • Hacking of the websites of private and public institutions in Serbia commemorating the Srebrenica massacre .
  • Chinese websites were attacked as resistance for Xinjiang .
