history

Historical view of the Schloditz manor

The place Schloditz was mentioned in 1267 as "Zlautiz". In the place a Vorwerk and 1606 a manor were mentioned in the year 1542 . This was owned by the von Rabe family in the 15th century and then by the von Tettau family . In the 19th century the Schloditz manor belonged to a Mr. Uebrig, from 1826 to a Mr. Golle and then until 1945 to the Adler family. The Schloditz manor, however, only exercised full lordship over the place from the 17th century. Around 1542 part of Schloditz was also under the Reusa manor . Schloditz has always been parish after Theuma .

Until the 19th century, Schloditz belonged to the Electoral Saxon or Royal Saxon Office of Voigtsberg . In 1856 the place was affiliated to the Oelsnitz court office and in 1875 to the Oelsnitz administration . In the course of the land reform in the Soviet zone in 1945, the Adler family was expropriated as the owners of the Schloditz manor. While the mansion was demolished in 1948, the farm buildings are still inhabited today.

As a result of the second district reform in the GDR , the municipality of Schloditz came to the Oelsnitz district in the Chemnitz district in 1952 (renamed the Karl-Marx-Stadt district in 1953 ). On July 1, 1973, Schloditz was incorporated into Droßdorf with the Schloditzer share of Juchhöh together with Altmannsgrün and Obermarxgrün. Schloditz came as part of the Droßdorf community in 1990 to the Saxon district of Oelsnitz, which was added to the Vogtland district in 1996. On January 1, 1994, the municipality Droßdorf and its districts were incorporated into Tirpersdorf.
