history

In the 19th century, Juchhöh consisted of two settlements at the intersection of the streets of Oelsnitz / Vogtl. to Dresden or from Plauen to Schöneck / Vogtl. The border between Schloditz and Droßdorf runs through the village. The upper part of Juchhöh was also called "Oberschloditz". Ecclesiastically, Juchhöh has always been parish after Theuma . In terms of political administration, Juchhöh belonged to the Electoral Saxon or Royal Saxon Office of Voigtsberg until 1856 . In 1856, Juchhöh, located in Schloditzer and Droßdorfer Flur, was affiliated to the Oelsnitz court office and in 1875 to the Oelsnitz administration . The town's school building was erected in 1880.

As a result of the second district reform in the GDR , the communities Droßdorf and Schloditz came to the Oelsnitz district in the Chemnitz district in 1952 (renamed the Karl-Marx-Stadt district in 1953 ). With the incorporation of Schloditz into the Droßdorf community on July 1, 1973, the Droßdorfer and Schloditz shares were combined in one community. The municipality of Droßdorf came to the Saxon district of Oelsnitz in 1990, which was added to the Vogtlandkreis in 1996. On January 1, 1994, the municipality Droßdorf and its districts were incorporated into Tirpersdorf, which also made Juchhöh a district of Tirpersdorf.
