Azerrail Baku is an Azerbaijani women's volleyball club from Baku .

history

Azerrail Baku was founded in 1986 and has played in the Azerbaijani Super League ever since. In addition, the women regularly take part in European competitions. In the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1993 , they finished third. In 2002 Azerrail won the Top Teams Cup . In 2004 they finished fourth in the Volleyball Champions League after losing to RC Cannes . In 2011 they won the Challenge Cup with two 3-1 final wins over local rivals Lokomotiv Baku . 2011/12 Azerrail started in the Champions League and was eliminated in the quarterfinals against VK Dynamo Kazan . Also in 2012/13 Azerrail reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League , losing to Yamamay Busto Arsizio in the golden set .
