Aziza Jalal
Aziza Jalal ( Arabic عزيزة جلال, DMG ʿAzīza Ǧalāl ; * December 15, 1958 ) is a Moroccan singer.
Jalal was discovered in a Moroccan talent show in the 1970s that also resulted in Samira Saïd and Rajaa Bilmalih . Between 1975 and 1985 she was one of the most popular classical singers in the Arab world and the favorite singer of King Hassan of Morocco. She worked with producers in the United Arab Emirates and Egypt, and composers such as Baligh Hamdi , Riyadh al-Sombati and Sayed Makkawi wrote songs for her. After marrying a Saudi businessman, she gave up her musical career.
