Azmeraw Bekele (born January 22, 1986 ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner .

In 2010 he won the Marrakech Marathon over the half marathon distance in 1:00:57 h. Then he won the Ethiopian elimination race for the Cross Country World Championships in Bydgoszcz , where he contributed with a 22nd place to win the bronze medal of his team. In summer he won the Corrida de Langueux in 28:13 minutes, in autumn he won the Great Ethiopian Run .
