Azophi is an impact crater on the front of the Moon west of Mare Nectaris , southeast of Abenezra crater , the rim of which Azophi touches, and northwest of Sacrobosco . The crater rim is moderately eroded, the crater floor largely flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Persian astronomer Abd ar-Rahman as-Sufi (Latinized Azophi ).
