history

The three-storey, plastered, simple house with a saddle roof was built in 1894 at the turn of the century as a “Colonialwarenhandlung bakery and restaurant” for Diedrich Hincke. Later Gerhard Hincke ran the restaurant. The wide parapet strip between the upper floors and the upper blind window as a decorated wall niche with an upper niche arch are striking. A rainwater pipe runs on the main front at a slight angle above the ground floor. The building was given a lower extension with a gable roof at the rear.

Today (2018) the house is used as a restaurant and café as well as a Lesum service center and residential building.

The Martini church , the Lesum pharmacy , the half-timbered house An der Lesumer Kirche 22, the Lesum district court house (today Lesum police station, Hindenburgstrasse 32/34), the Lesum home building (old schoolyard 11) are located in the immediate vicinity as listed or significant buildings. , the thatched house at Hindenburgstrasse 51 and the house at Hindenburgstrasse 61 from 1875 (ex establishment for the chief magistrate , later the Burglesum local office and job center).
