Bålholmen (Ålesund)

Bålholmen is a small uninhabited island in Aspevågen in Norway and belongs to the municipality of Ålesund in the Norwegian province of Møre og Romsdal .
It is located in the area of Ålesund harbor immediately south of the island of Nørvøy . A little further east are the islands of Skrivaren and Lampeholmen .
The rocky island has a west-east extension of about 60 meters and a width of up to about 40 meters. It reaches a height of up to two meters, is barren and not very overgrown. Its shoreline has been partially straightened and paved.
