The Bohemian Declaration was a pronouncement that the Czech politician František Ladislav Rieger had written and presented to the chairman of the Bohemian state parliament on August 22, 1868 .

In this declaration, 82 Czech MPs published their political program and justified their non-appearance in the newly elected state parliament by stating that the historical constitutional law of the Bohemian crown could only be properly taken into account if the Bohemian nation was fairly represented to the Austrian state and the emperor .
