Exchange Expert Commission

The Stock Exchange Experts Commission (BSK) is an independent committee of experts that advises the Federal Ministry of Finance on all capital market-related issues, especially in the field of stock exchange and securities. The BSK reports directly to the ministry.

The meetings of the BSK usually take place twice a year. In addition, topic-related BSK working groups are regularly set up as required.

The BSK was convened for the first time in 1968 by the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs. The first meeting took place on June 15, 1968. The BSK currently consists of 14 members. The members are appointed by the Federal Ministry of Finance. Represented include the Deutsche Bundesbank , issuers from industrial companies, banks, issuers from the insurance industry , the German investment industry, private investors, Deutsche Börse AG , foreign banks, science and the stock exchange supervisory authority of the federal states. The activities of the BSK are coordinated by an office.
