The Büdelberg is a mountain on King George Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located in the southern mountains on the Fildes Peninsula in the southwest of the island. The mapping carried out in 1984 by a German expedition of scientists from the Universities of Heidelberg , Karlsruhe and Berlin records a height of 131  m for the summit . The mountain was named after the German sea ​​ice specialist Julius Büdel .
