Bülent Akıncı

Bülent Akıncı (born March 10, 1967 in Ankara , Turkey ) is a German - Turkish film director , producer and screenwriter . He has lived in Berlin since 1970 .

Career

Akıncı initially shot numerous short films at the DFFB, which have received multiple awards. His film A Little Story from 2001 received, among other things, the short film award of the Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau Foundation in 2002.

His first feature film, Der Lebensversicherer , produced in 2006, screened at the 56th Berlin International Film Festival and received several awards at the 28th Moscow International Film Festival .
