The Bülow monument is a monument in the Harzer Bodetal and is located directly behind Königsruhe in the direction of Treseburg .

It was built for the Thaler Oberforstmeister von Bülow . Between 1818 and 1820 he is said to have laid out the first hiking trails through the Bodetal and across the Schurre to the Roßtrappe , for which the monument was dedicated to him. Old reports, however, also attribute this merit to a forester Eyber , who had obtained the approval of Bülows for it.

The monument consists of a large stone with a metal plate on top. The plate bears the inscription:

THE PEOPLE FRIENDS
THE NOBLE

OF THE YEAR MDCCCXVIII
THE PATH WE paved

On the front of the stone there is also the inscription:

SIEBENBURGER
ST TH
